PRODUCTION PROCESS
Getreu polyurethane timing belts GETREU TIMING BELTS consist of 2 components, the wear-resistant Contilan, a polyurethane and a high quality steel cord tension member. The high power transmission capability results from the good booding of both materials. The moulding production process-cast extrusion- combines the following advantages. •The cast PU timing belt is an exact copy of its mould patten. High pitch precision across the entire belt is achieved. As a result, particularly suitable for conformal, smooth running and for high speeds. •Small length tolerance. Tolerance position canbe influenced by changing the winding tension, •Good bonding to the steel cord tension members due to the casting process and the capillary action. •High reproduction quality of the cast polyurethane. Exact development of fine contours possible. Particularly suitable for small pitches. DL tooth meshing and carrier cam on the back of the belt can be formed. •The timing belt coil removed from the mould has a total useable width depending on the moulld of up to 400 mm. The installation and maintenance of belt1.Switch off the power,remove the protective cap.loosen the assembly,move the motor to make the belt loose,you can take off the belt wrenching it up.
2.Take off the old belt,and then check if there is any abnormalwear and tear.Excessive wear and tear may indicate there are some problems with the design or maintenance of the gearing.
3.Choose the proper belt.
4.Clean the belt and the pulley using a cloth with some liquid which can't volatilize easily.It is not proper to soak it in the cleaning formulation or brush it with cleaning formulation or use the sand paper or sharp subject to scratch.The belt must be kept in dry condition.
5.Check the pulley if there is any abnormal wear and tear or crack,if the wear and tear is excessive,the pulley must be changed.
6.Check the pulley to see ifit is in symmetrical straight line,which is very important for the performance of the transmission,especially for the timing belt gearing.
7.Check the rest parts of the gearing,for example,the symmetry of the bearing and the bearing boot,durability and lubrication,etc.
8.When nstaling a new belt on the pully,it is forbidden to wrench or use too much force.
9.Ajdust and tighten the central distance of the gearing,until the tension is proper measured by the tension gauge.Use hand to rotate the driving pulley for several rounds and measures the tension again.
10.Tighten the assembly bolt of the motor,correct the torque,because nay change of the central distance well cause the bad property of the belt.Make sure all the gearings are tightened.
11.Switch the gearing on and observe the property of the belt if there is any unuaual vibration,listen carefully to see if there are any unusual noises.You'd better turn off the machine,then check the condition of bearing and motor,if the temperature is very high,may be because the belt is too tight or bearing is not symmetrical,or the lubrication is not correct.
